Nhasa brings private education to a whole new level…

NHASA Academy
Benefits of NHASA
Small teacher-student ratio:
Most of our students are working 1-2 years beyond their grade levels.

Our small class sizes allow for a great deal of one-on-one attention so our students may follow a truly individualized curriculum that meets their particular needs, strengths, and interests that enable them to learn at their own pace.

NHASA students learn at an accelerated pace, experience more meaning in what they learn, develop a better sense of who they are and what they want to accomplish in the future, and achieve at higher levels.

Little to no homework:
Most to all of the work assigned at NHASA is completed during the school day.

Our homework policy enables students to lead whole lives which includes time with family, friends, and working in their community, and pursing co-curricular activities to their fullest.

Studies show that increased homework time does not lead to increase in academic performance but does lead to increases in stress, ill health, and depression in many students.

Flexible Scheduling:
We recognize that many athletes and artists need a schedule that allows them all the time they need for training, practicing, competing, performing, physical conditioning, physical therapy, and creating works of art.

We work with each student’s individual scheduling needs to ensure s/he is getting a top-rate academic education while having the time to become outstanding in the arts and/or athletic pursuits of her/his choosing.

Excellence in academic education:
Our emphasis on the development of strong critically deliberative inquiry means your child will learn how to learn, how to think, how to make wise and informed choices, how to achieve personal success, how to make decisions that are mindful of others and the environment, and how to not only fulfill, but exceed their previously acquired potentials.

NHASA teaches students to be global, life-long learners able to lead meaningful, successful, and gratifying lives.

Outstanding Faculty:
All our faculty members at NHASA are experienced and educated in their subject area.

In addition, our faculty are experienced educators – they have all worked with children in an educative context with the goal of developing a continual improvement in their understandings, skills, knowledge, and potentialities.

Our faculty offers a uniquely motivating and empowering academic environment in her/his classroom to allow each student to feel a sense of belonging and to feel challenged, encouraged, and guided toward success.

Each member of our faculty is highly devoted and committed to seeing that each and every student at NHASA achieves success and finds their experience here both rewarding and enjoyable.
