MATH:
- This course is for students who wish to advance further in their math studies at any and all levels of math from grades Kindergarten through Trigonometry.
- It operates as an individualized tutoring course where students get lots of one-on-one attention.
- It includes S.A.T. preperation math where students will learn helpful suggestions on succeeding on the S.A.T. and do lots of practice tests and problems.
WRITING:
Writing for Fun:
- This is for students of any age who wish to advance their skills in writing in the genre of their choosing (e.g., essays, short fiction, poetry, memoirs, etc.). - - - Students in this course will develop a portfolio of their work that shows what they have learned and what they can work on next.
- Lots of one-on-one attention is given in this course to really engage students in their writing process and advance their skills. Peer and teacher conferences will also help students develop their writing even further.
College Preparatory Writing:
- This is for students in grades 9-post graduate level who wish to advance in their essay and other college preparatory writing.
- Students in this course will create a portfolio of work that includes an essay of the student's choosing, an impromptu written essay, an assigned essay, a college application essay, and a written appraisal of their own work.
- Lots of one-on-one attention is given in this course to really engage students in their writing process and advance their skills. Peer conferences will also help students develop their writing even further.

Time:
The time of the classes will be scheduled in accordance to student needs. When you call to sign up, you will be asked to give dates available and times of day preferred.
Fees: (per student per hour)
$40/hour for a minimum of 6 hours
$65/hour for a maximum of 5 hours
